Poudre River Trail

Twenty-one miles of wide paved trail along the Cache la Poudre from Island Grove Park in Greeley to Highway 392 at Windsor, with the main Windsor trailhead at Eastman Park and a link west to Larimer County's River Bluffs Open Space.

Main Park

The old town park under big trees just south of Town Hall: playground, pickleball and basketball courts, three shelters with grills, restrooms, and cornhole, foosball and ping pong for the picnic crowd.

    The 2.25-mile loop around Windsor Lake from Boardwalk Park, the town's everyday walk and run, flat the whole way, with the lake dog park on the north shore and a connection west on the #2 Ditch Trail.

    The Town park on Windsor Lake at the north edge of downtown: swim beach, boat rentals, fishing, a playground, a stage and three shelters, with the 2.25-mile lake trail and the History Museum's old buildings on the grounds.

    Windsor's big river park south of downtown at 7th Street and the Poudre: a river-mile for tubing and kayaking, an 18-hole disc golf course, a fenced dog park, skatepark, fields, playground and the Poudre River Trail along its south edge.

    The Town's free art and history gallery in the 1909 former Town Hall on 5th Street, with rotating exhibitions and the old fire truck out front, open Thursday to Sunday.

    The Clearview Library District's main library on 3rd Street, open seven days: books and media, computers and 3D printing, children's programs, reservable meeting rooms, test proctoring and a notary.

    The Town's 85,000-square-foot recreation center on 11th Street: two gyms, fitness rooms, an indoor track and an indoor pool with lap lanes, lazy river, slide and hot tub, open from 5 am on weekdays with day passes.

    The 118-acre sports complex on Windsor's east side: a stadium that is home to Northern Colorado Hailstorm FC and the Owlz, an indoor dome, baseball diamonds, turf fields, volleyball courts and a Miracle Field, built for tournaments and leagues.

    Five historic buildings moved to Boardwalk Park, among them the 1882 train depot, an 1885 schoolhouse, a beet shack and a chapel, open free on summer weekends from late May to early September.
