Community Recreation Center

The Town's 85,000-square-foot recreation center on 11th Street: two gyms, fitness rooms, an indoor track and an indoor pool with lap lanes, lazy river, slide and hot tub, open from 5 am on weekdays with day passes.

Windsor’s recreation center is an 85,000-square-foot building on North 11th Street with two gymnasiums, several fitness rooms of Cybex cardio and weight equipment, an indoor walking and jogging track, class spaces, and an indoor aquatic area with three lap lanes, a 23-person hot tub, a lazy river, a water slide and a zero-depth-entry pool. It is also the Parks, Recreation & Culture department’s front desk, where park shelters and ball fields are booked, and the library keeps a small outpost here.

The building opens at 5 am on weekdays. Pool hours are shorter: 5 to 8 weekdays, 8 to 6 Saturday, noon to 5 Sunday, with the play features and slide starting at 10, the activity pool closed Monday to Thursday 5 to 7 pm and Saturday 8 to 10 am for lessons, and a lap-pool closure Monday to Thursday 8:45 to 9:30 am; closed on major holidays. Children 9 and under must be with someone 16 or older. Daily admission is $7 for adults 21 to 61, $6 for youth and for seniors 62 and over, $5 under 5, and a 20-visit pass is $98; memberships are on the Town’s rates page.
