Karen Suman Park

Karen Suman Park is in the Timber Ridge subdivision at Timber Ridge Parkway and Pinon Pine Drive. The Town dedicates it to the memory of the late Karen Suman, who served as Mayor of Severance from 1998 to 2000. It has open space, picnic shelters, picnic tables, benches, trees, flowers and grass, and a Play-On! playground that the Town says was built for sliding, swinging, spinning, climbing, brachiating and balancing. The address, features and dedication were read on the park’s page in the Town’s facilities directory on 10 October 2026. The Town’s Parks & Recreation page, read the same day, lists the park at 400 S Timber Ridge Parkway instead; the facility page’s own address is used here, and the Town’s facilities directory gives the same one. The Town’s Parks & Trails map, dated 13 April 2026, numbers it park 8, 1.7 acres (spelled “Karen Summan” there), on Timber Ridge Parkway north of Ponderosa Drive, which is the dated evidence that it is a current Town park.
