Bar
William Oliver's
A whiskey-and-bacon pub on Main Street with no TVs, no reservations and no phone: a long whiskey list, Colorado-made spirits and beer, a snug for small groups and a rear biergarten where dogs are welcome.
One of William Oliver’s Colorado pubs, on the 500 block of Main. The idea is a traditional pub where the dining and the bar share one room, there is a dart board, and nothing (no live music, no loud televisions) gets in the way of talking. The whiskey list is the draw; the bar otherwise pours only Colorado-made gin, rum, vodka, brandy, absinthe and tequila alongside Colorado craft beers, and the menu uses hand-cut, thick-sliced applewood-smoked bacon liberally, with vegetarian options.
Two things set this location apart: the Snug, a semi-private room for six to eight that works for a meeting, and a rear Biergarten for outdoor seating, where dogs are welcome. The pub takes no reservations and does not answer the phone at any location; you walk in. Hours are not published on its site.
