Manweiler Hardware
The family-owned downtown hardware store, on Main Street since 1946: hardware, plumbing, electrical, Benjamin Moore paint, keys cut, housewares and sporting goods, with special orders.
Family owned and operated and serving Windsor for more than 70 years, Manweiler’s is the old-line hardware store on Main Street, the one builders, repairmen and homeowners go to first (“Where Hardware Isn’t a Sideline” is its line). Hardware, plumbing and electrical, Benjamin Moore paint, auto and house keys, housewares and sporting goods, and the yard and tool brands it carries, among them Traeger, Echo, Snapper, DeWalt, Stanley and Black and Decker. If it is not on the shelf they will special-order it.
Open weekdays 9 to 5:30 and Saturday 9 to 4; closed Sunday. The big-box alternative is the Ace Hardware on the 1200 block of Main.
